Recognition & certification system

The PR8 Recognition and Certification System focuses on establishing guidelines and recommendations for integrating and certifying competencies using open badges in educational contexts. Developed as part of the MP4s project, it aims to support institutions in aligning the SIT4PLANET syllabus with the 'open badge' concept, fostering traceability, portability, and certification of learning outcomes. This deliverable explores validation, recognition, and certification processes across partner countries while promoting the use of Moodle for issuing open badges.

Key features of PR8 include the creation of comprehensive guidelines for linking SIT4PLANET syllabus outcomes to open badges, providing robust support for the validation and certification of non-formal and informal learning. It offers tools for implementing open badges within Moodle-based systems and enhances the recognition of digital badges to improve student mobility and employability.
